Meet the Team
With over a decade in dentistry, Allyssa brings a rare mix of heart, strategy, and systems to every client she serves. Her journey into dental billing wasn’t traditional — she earned her Bachelor’s in Ministry and Biblical Studies from Eastern University and spent several years as a youth pastor before discovering her unexpected passion for dentistry in 2013.
From office manager to treatment coordinator, Allyssa learned firsthand how efficient systems and strong communication can transform a practice. In 2020, she founded Zen Dental Support with one mission: to help dental teams create sustainable, profitable workflows that actually feel calm and manageable.
Allyssa is an active member of AADOM, the Dental Revenue Network, and the Circle of Dental Excellence (CODE). She also provides consulting, coaching, and training to help practices strengthen team development and communication — because thriving practices start with thriving teams.
When she’s not helping dental offices simplify their revenue cycle, you’ll find her reading, crafting, watercolor painting, or spending time with her beloved fur babies. Her personal mantra says it all: Work smarter, not harder.

Melissa has been in the dental field since 2011, gaining experience in hygiene, scheduling, and front office administration. A devoted NY Giants and Notre Dame fan, she loves spending evenings watching football with her family.

LIZ, insurance verification specialist
Liz has been with ZDS since November 2021 and previously worked alongside Chris managing childcare centers, bringing the same enthusiasm and eagerness to learn when she joined the dental community. Outside of work, Liz enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.
Tara joined our team with extensive experience in the dental field, having served as both an HR Operations Manager and Patient Care Coordinator. She lives with her husband and a mother of 3, and enjoys family time and friendly games of horseshoes, cornhole, and cards.

Jenna brings extensive experience from her time in dental offices, where she served as a billing specialist and insurance coordinator—her knowledge of insurance verification, EOBs, and payment posting is truly invaluable to our team. Jenna takes great pride in her most important role as a mother of three. In her free time, she enjoys family movie nights and loves playing cards—especially Uno, Skip-Bo, and Phase 10.

Michelle has been a true blessing to our team since joining us in May 2022, bringing over 30 years of dental experience in both front office and clinical operations. She and her husband, Marty, recently moved from Pennsylvania to sunny North Carolina with their two fur-babies; married for 27 years, they share a blended family of three children, and Michelle enjoys spending her free time at the beach and cooking.
